Sales Training for CSO's
Last week, Geodatics' Project Assistant Akinyi Ogot visited 8 different areas in Kenya to train a total of 116 Community Sales Officers (CSO's) on sales. The CSO's function as spiders in the web between Geodatics, sister company Agrics and the members of farmer groups. CSO's make sure all farmers are well informed on the services and conditions of Geodatics and take up their orders. The better their sales techniques and understanding of what Geodatics offers, the more farmers they eventually will reach with Geodatics' products.
Every training started with a bit of fun to set a positive tone for the rest of the training. The training focused on topics like setting and keeping targets, the right attitude to sell, preparation and administration. Recruitment of farmers for the new season is just about to start. With the training topics fresh in mind the CSO's are ready to get new clients on board.
